What we have done in our past life we cannot change , but from this moment on what we make of our future ...Becomes the memory of our past

Many people will walk in and out of your life,
but only true friends will leave a footprint in your heart .

I have currently befriended a gentleman who has experienced both sides of life over the past 10 to 15 years ,it was through a family friend who asked him to come and share a few problems with me , ease his mind a little ,and reassure him that not everyone turns their back when the going gets tough .
It's amazing how many friends gather around us when we become successful , invites pour in from every Tom , Dick & Sally , we receive offers of every kind , we start to leave our true friends behind the ones we grew up with , thankfully there still is lots of successful people who respect their real friends from the past and insist on sharing their good fortune in life with them , back to the story now .
Let's refer to my friend as Colin.....Colin had built a successful buisness for himself , money started to pour in , new home , cars , holidays . He had the same girlfriend (call her Alice ) since school a very nice and delightful lady , they are both 30 years old at present , Alice was'nt one for the high life she would prefer to cuddle up with Colin and watch TV rather than take in a party or such like , she did like her holidays ( don't we all ), Colin was always persistent on going to events , events that he did'nt need to attend , Alice did attend some of the gatherings with him but she really did'nt enjoy them , she disliked the falseness she saw in people , she tried explaining this to Colin but he thought it was just another get out excuse , Colin does admit that it was at this time things started going downhill for him .
He attended parties and events on his from this point onwards , he said he was glad to get away from Alice at this period , she had turned into a party poop , what he should have realised that Alice was never a party goer and respected her wishes , but the usual scenario happened... starts going out on his lonesome ,
Boy meets Girl ... employs her...works late...attends buisness meetings very regular...and looses sight of Alice... he has admitted that through his affair he had lost sight of his life , Alice had moved out , his work was going down fast , his new work friends were nowhere to be found ,his only friend was the booze , he thought he could bury his head in the bottle and life would be great again , he eventually lost his home / work / wife, thankfully no kids were involved , he said thoughts of suicide were becoming more and more regular in his head , he lost touch with his true friends through his own stupidness and possibly pride ,
a few of my friends came from a poor background and i was too proud to introduce such people into my new modern and stylish lifestyle i had ," What a Plonker i became " he said out loud .
I'ts now six month we have been chatting and things have started to get back on track for him , I've had a few chats with Alice and hopefully through time a reunion could be in store , he has started at the bottom again , a few new contracts is lined up for him ,his old friends are back in his life again even helping him out with his new ventures , he realises what he had in life was so hard to get but so easy to loose , his main aim in life currently is to prove to Alice that no matter what we acheive in life ,it's still empty without the right person at our side , i am quite confident that things will turn out good for both of them .
I know this will relate to a few who read this , it's so hard to get to where we want in life and yet so simple to return to where we began .
Mr Life

I think life can be sad at times ,a lot of people forget where they came from and what type of background they were raised in ,we don't need big fancy homes or cars to be a nice person but i sometimes think by chatting with a lot of people that the presure of LIFE can turn your mind a little making us something that we don't really want to be , mixing in company that a few year back we would'nt be seen dead in .
Even our own family members change , yes we do still love them , but do we still like them , hopefully in the coming months i am going to put over a few true life stories ( or problems ) of some famous and not so famous people of course no names will be given , i think once you read some of them you will realise no matter how rich or poor, famous or unknown we become our problems in one way or another are the same ,always remember this...it can take a while to climb a mountain but only a few seconds to slip and fall.
Till later , give a thought to those less fortunate than yourself , take a few moments of your time to look around and see that your friends ,family or anyone that you know for that matter is worry free ,even if you cant cure their worry you can always share your heart with them...it does help
